Do you shop at a certain time to beat the crowd?

No, but my husband does because he does the grocery shopping. I hate grocery shopping and he loves it (it's the food, I think lol). When I shop, I usually do it to get out of the house, so I go whenever I want.

^^ Same. I go when I need too. But I will admit. I hate and I mean hate shopping.

Most times we get all the kids up, dressed, and fed on Saturday mornings, and then I go to town to do the shopping while DH stays with the kids. I am usually in town by 8, and the stores are empty. I'm not a fan of crowded stores, so it works great!

Definitely - never! Well we do have to buy groceries. I like to go at night when everyone is asleep.

Before L was born we used to go at midnight. DH got off work we would eat and then go shopping. It either great because the stores were literally empty and I hate crowds. Now with L we go during the week late morning.. So it's not empty but its not packed either.

So here is a question? How is food shopping with your LO? Drake has like 20 minutes then he is DONE. He does not want to leave, he wants to run around. Which is normally fine, but it makes grocery shopping a speed process or DH and I have to split up. I go by myself sometimes too. Drake is just so active. Sitting there while I shop is boring for him.

We generally go on a Tuesday afternoon/early evening or a Wednesday morning, either before or after Eve's nap

I usually go by myself with both kids. Kellsey usually rides in the cart and callen walks and helps me get stuff. Kellsey is usually pretty good but I do try and go either before or after naptime never during naps or its a disaster. Does Drake like to help pick out stuff? That always helps mine not be so anxious.

Drake does not like to help at all. LOL! He runs like a mad man! One of us chase him around, dodge him out of the way of carts and so on. He literally runs like 30 mph for 20 minutes up and down every isle. It's actually hilarious! He also goes up to peoples carts and grabs them, pushes it like a inch looks at them and says "Dat!" then runs away. LMAO!

Haha. That's funny. At least you have your hubby to help. I don't know what I would do if one of my kids did that! Lol.

When I have to go to the store by myself I KNOW I have 20 minutes TOPS before he wants out so I basically run around like a chicken with my head cut off.

Eli is really good. He'll sit in the cart and talk to me about all the food we're buying, Eliana not so much. She gets in the store and takes off running. DH has been putting them in the car cart (the big one for kids) and running them around the store so I can shop without so much distraction.
I'm sure we're obnoxious as heck, but the kids have a lot of fun
