I hate that somehow our government has a say in what medications are mandatory for my child. I can prove I'm std free so why does my child need that crap in his eyes.. Just to avoid cps. That's bull.

If Eve's eyes were not all goopy or greasy then I would imagine she did not get them.

Ok ladies guess what?! In Arizona they DO use silver nitrate still!!!! I was just reading about it. I was looking at the forms of exemptions I could get for when Drake plays sports and it says that in Arizona I can fill out a form BEFORE I give birth to NOT have the silver nitrate put into my babies eyes!!!

That's horrible. For sure have that form if you have another baby in AZ. It sickens me that they still use that stuff. It's been proven to burn their eyes and cause blindness.

I KNOW!! I have read that! I cannot believe they DO! Insane! I feel so upset because when I had Drake I thought I knew it all ya know. But you know what, I cannot do anything now. I am just thankful that he is fine and not blind. I feel so bad.

Don't feel bad Jess!! You didn't know

That is so sad though, that it is compulsory. I just asked Scott and he said she didn't get anything put in her eyes I'm so glad!!
