A few weeks back there was a topic and we were talking about runners. I do not recall what thread but I was saying that Drake likes to run into the street. Well, the complex we live in, the sidewalk is right along the street, but not the actual street, just for people that live here. Well for WEEKS now every single time Drake gets near the curb I say to him "No no baby, that's too close, back up please" and now after doing this foreverrrrrrr, when I say that he looks at me and takes a step back and continues to walk OR when HE notices he is kinda close, he will take a step back ON HIS OWN look at me and continue walking! I AM SO EXCITED!

Thanks for sharing. Gentle parenting may take longer but it really does work in the end!

Yes, exactly! It takes time and patience but it's so worth it.

It really is neat to see that Gabbs. It's just so amazing because as you all know, we see our babies go from a newborn where they cannot even move, to crawling, sitting up, walking and then listening! It's so incredible how smart babies are!

Smart boy! And goes to show that gentle approaches to such behaviors DO work!
