I am around. I pretty much lurk so that if I can help anyone with anything (or try to) I don't miss the post. I respond when I can.
Isabel's tongue tie is clipped. She still has a little bit of a latch problem, BUT now when she gets the latch right, it stays right! The clipping made a big difference
We breastfeed most of the day now, except for a bottle in the morning and at night with her reflux medicine in it.She is also still learning to empty the breast effectively, so her weight gain hasn't been the best lately . . . but I think we'll get there. The last two days I've noticed an improvement.
I am still pumping (for the morning and evening bottle) and I'm also still donating half of my pumped milk to another baby in my area whose mom cannot breastfeed. I only have to pump twice a day.
Overall, it's going well, and I feel like full-time breastfeeding is on the horizon for us. I can't believe what we went through to get here. Just looking forward to my nipples feeling better now.
