What carseats do you use for your LOs?

We have 2 Recaro Prorides that we absolutely love but have been a PITA to install. The LATCH keeps coming loose.. Is it normal to have to tighten everytime you get into the car?

Arthur rides in the First Years True Fit Premier. It meets all my wants in a car seat, and I really like it. We also just got our hands on a Chicco Keyfit (from a close friend, doesn't expire for a few years, known history of no crashes, or airplane checks) for in dh's truck. I am not a fan of infant seats, and would never choose to carry the seat around, but it was honestly the easiest and best instal I've ever gotten on my first try!

Everyone should always do a quick grab and pull check every time they put baby in a car seat, to make sure nothing has loosened.. but it is not normal for the latch to come loose. Think about what would happen in a crash, if it comes loose in day to day use. I would try a seatbelt installation immediately until you can contact the manufacturer and get them to either fix it, or send you a new part!

There each have an evenflo triumph 65. I love them. They are easy to install and I've never had any problems with them. The kids really like them too.

Claire just got a Britax Pioneer 70 for my van and I really love it. Abigail is currently in a First Years True Fit Premier and George has a Diono Radian RXT (both RFing of course). We also have 2 more Diono Radians so we can put them 3-across in my DH's SUV when we want to drive it somewhere with everyone.

I don't think it's normal to have to pull slack out of the latch install everytime you get in the car. We check ours regularly and rarely have to tighten. Maybe once every few months they seem a bit jostled from day-to-day wear and tear. I'd check that out.

We have all Gracos. They are our favorite seat. Liam has a nautilus, Kieran has a MyRide65 (rf) and Jo is in the snugride32.

We are also all Graco same as Ashlee, G is in the infant one and M in the convertible. She is FFing now because her big seat (nor, from my research, any of the seats that fit toddlers her size) won't fit RFing behind the driver's seat in our Prius. It is not a huge car and DH and I both have long legs so we need the seat back far enough that our legs don't constrain the steering wheel. At least she RFed to age 2.
