I was watching the CBS Early Show just now, and they did a story on Chinese medicine retreats to help with infertility. The lady who runs the retreats says she has a 75% success rate.

Click here for the entire story.

Here's a snippet of the story:

Quote:
Dr. Randine Lewis says, “It was really out of a sense of absolute desperation that I started looking for other ways to address my problems.” Her own search for a baby led her to the ancient art of Chinese medicine.

She says, “After three and a half years of unsuccessful attempts, within three months, I was pregnant.”

Dr. Lewis is now a proud mother and has devoted herself to helping other women get pregnant like she did[/b]

I think a lot can be said for "alternative" methods. More epole should try it before the expensive procedures for fertility, IMO

Exactly. If I would have had fertility problems, I would most def try this before IVF.

Absolutely. There is a non-chinese Chiro in town who does some emotional healing and he has had success with women who couldn't get pg, once they get beyond their emotional fears/blocks they end up pg.

There are lots of alternative methods that dr's like to say don't work because they do work and if they became the norm they'd be out of work. Vitex VS Clomid is one of them. There are cocktails that women make using Vitex, B6, B50 complex and some other things that has success when months of clomid hasn't.

Am I the only one who finds it odd that the Chinese, who have the "one-child per family" rule would have the answer to infertility

It looks very promising!

Actually if you think about it the whole reason they have that rule is bc they are over populated to begin with!!
