Here's a bit of fluff for you all...

add in the u, or not? (color/colour, behavior/behaviour etc.)

I tend to leave out the extra "u" since I am American.

But I use a "u" when I want to feel fancy. It looks classy

I only use the "u" in honour. I don't know why but I don't use it any other time.

Canuck here too, and I use the 'u'.

In fact, I sometimes wonder if people on the board (being that it's primarily Americans) think that I'm always spelling the same words wrong, over and over

I got marked off during a spelling test for using the "u". Stupid American teachers.

I prefer to use the "u" but sometimes I forget. But FTR, I don't ever think that Canadians (or Brits or whatever) are spelling it wrong.

Contrary to popular belief --- Americans are not that stupid
