Do you have a favorite topic?: Equality is a big one... this can pretty much extend into any topic, really.
Is there anything about which you are particularly knowledgeable?: I know a good amount about educational rights/ IDEA, etc, because I've had to live it. I also know a good amount about a mother's right to breastfeed in public and what the law entails for different states/countries, etc.
Your hot button issue?: Extended breastfeeding. Circumcision, too, but we aren't allowed to discuss that here.
ETA: Non-debate wise, I have a good amount of knowledge about computer stuff, I consider myself a semi-expert in all things knitting (yes, I'm a dork, I know), and I have a BA in English, so theoretically, I can write well.

Is there anything about which you are particularly knowledgeable?: There are a few things which I would say I am knowledgeable about. I have a few jobs - Certified Childbirth Educator, Placental Encapsulation Professional, Counseling Center. I also use to be a Doula and Midwife, and I went to college for Veterinary Medicine. So I'd say pregnancy, childbirth and animals I am pretty knowledgeable about, amongst other things, but we'll stick with that.
Your hot button issue?: Well anything can turn into a hot button issue for me if I'm in the right mood.
