The question is why I didn't post in the introduction sticky.
First of all, I'm Kiwimommy, 18, mom to Ashlynn Heather who was born Jan 28th 2010.
I usually lurk, and posted a few times. Once of which I was reprimanded for posting on a "dead" topic.
So, my question is..
at which point is a topic considered "dead"?
If it's on the first page is it alright to reply? Even if it's been a week or two since the last reply?
I don't want to bump anything that is done and over with.
Hope to semi-get to know you all!

I believe the guidelines say 3 or more pages back but I tend to leave a topic alone if it hasn't had any new responses in a week or more, even if it's still on the first page, unless I have exciting new information to provide or a different opinion than what's already been stated. It's silly to post "ditto" or repeat something already said for a topic that's been dead for weeks, KWIM? That's just me though.
Anyways, welcome and feel free to jump in.
