I am just curious. I have to get dressed in casual dressy every day, and I end up buying about 10 days worth of outfits (some mix and match, so really not 10 seperate outfits) twice a year. I may pick up a dress or shirt I like more often, but I don't really just go out "shopping." I have to have a purpose.
I also basically only shop at NY & Co. and on the first Tuesdays of the month when I get an addition 15% off, and have other coupons.
How about you all??

I try to buy one thing a month but usually I get four or five shirts in more shot.. every six or nine months. I need to shop more because my clothes wear out sooner. I'm just not much for it.. I think I make myself to busy. Lately I can't really afford it either..

Oh I forgot to say that my weight is like a yo yo and I end up not being able to wear the same stuff the next time the season rolls around.

Usually, I shop once in late spring to get a few new summer outfits. And maybe around the winter holidays I will buy a new sweater or something.
Other than that, only when my clothes have worn themselves out (jeans are ripped, shirt has come apart, etc).

I don't usually go shopping and pick up a bunch of things, it's one thing here and there, when I find something on sale. I love NY&Co too!!! Only problem is all of their jeans are SO high waisted I would have to say that the kids and dh get new stuff before I do though and I love going through the sale racks at Target
and Old Navy. We're getting Macy's here in a few months and dh has already warned me

I like to shop. I don't really go out and shop for the seasons though. I usually buy a little here and there once a month, maybe once every other... it just depends on money and my mood.

I wish I could go shopping more often lol. Since I've been pregnant I've bought a few maternity things here and there, but mostly I've been sporting some t-shirts. I've always been about the same size (prior to pregnancy) so jeans and stuff I don't have to buy as frequently. I do like to get a couple of new shirts with the season changes though.

How often? Man, thats hard! Maybe every couple of months I'll buy a new outfit for myself....... and I'll pick up shirts here and there.... nothing major and not putting a dent in our account. But for DD... oh man! I can't go anywhere without buying her new clothes LOL She had 2 dressers and a closet full of clothes before she was born! She has the same amount with her current wardrobe..... I'm a shop-a-holic!

If I had the money I would probably be a shop-a-holic. But, since I just have enough to pay bills and such, I only shop when I have to. I actually bought some shirts (casual) the other day. But I absolutely needed them. I got off lucky with my pants though. I had lost enough weight that I can now fit into some pants that I bought right before I got pregnant with Ayden long time ago. And they are pratcially new.
But I hadn't bought new clothes in probably a year or so.

i dont really go out and go shopping. if i need something i will go get it and usually find a few other things for myself, dh and ashton while i'm out. but i only go if i need something. right now since i'm loosing weight i dont want to go until winter starts because i have absolutely no winter clothes that fit. I would say once a year or so i go shopping just for me. dh too. he has his shopping sprees. and i am always getting things for ashton. he has too many clothes.

It depend - I shop when there are great sales or I need something specific. Other than that I just end up feeling bad about spending the money that way.

Beck, I nominate you for that show "what not to wear" Not that you dress badly, I'm sure you don't, but they give you a credit card with $5,000 on it Then you wouldn't have to feel bad

LOL - how do you know I don't dress badly?
Joel is always teasing me that I am the thriftiest shopper he knows.
I tend to hang out in salvation army & goodwill & just bought a GREAT suit 2 wks ago at a yard sale for $3.
I swear most people would have NO clue how cheap I dress though. I showed up for work in the new suit & great pair of heals & got a compliment from my boss right off about how nice I looked (LOL the suit was $3 & the shoes were $2 from salvation army - brand new with tags...) I always tease my "high-priced" sis that she does look cute in her expensive clothes, but I look cute AND I feel smart. I also sew a bit - so I can either make new, buy damaged at mark down & repair - or alter something to fit even when it doesn't - so that helps.
(Okay - so I put out there how cheap I am - but I swear - I'll post some picks of how I dress one of these days & you'll be shocked at what kind of looks you can afford at those prices...I'm telling you - there are plenty of bargains to be had!)
I would be happy to take a $5,000 donation toward my closet any day though & they can even say I dress ugly if they want to give that to me!

You and my Mom could have an awesome time shopping together. She is really good at finding great things a thrift stores. You would never know her whole outfit cost $5! She always get compliments about her style.
