~One of the wierdest thoughts I had was right when I found out I was pregnant. "oh, no, now my dad's gonna know that I have sex!" Mind you, I'd been married for 3 years and ppl knew that we were planning on ttc. (got preggo first month before telling ppl that we were ttc).

I had a crazy dream while pregnant...I had a terribly stuffy nose and head cold. I went to bed and my sleep that night was just awful! Finally I woke in the morning with this horrible feeling about my dream...I dreamt that I pulled an apple core out of my nose...THAT was what causing my head cold, stuffy nose. A apple core! Yeah...I was freaked out a bit in the morning..LOL

I was totally convinced that my firstborn was conjoined twins! My levels went up SUPER fast, so they thought I was for sure having multiples. I went in for an early ultrasound, and they were pretty sure that there was only one baby. Somehow, in my pregnant hormone induced craziness, I convinced myself that I was having twins, and that the only reason that they could only see one baby is that they were conjoined.

 You girls are too funny.
With my two oldest, I was way too sick to really think of anything....other than that my kids should come out at like 5lbs with all the weight I had lost (30lb and 21lbs respectively).
Yea...they came out to be 9lbs and 10 1/2 lbs.... I was weird to think that my body could produce normal sized babies!!!! By the time I became pregnant with my daughter, I figured that she would've been well over 11lbs...but she ended up being 9lb 3oz.

Not too far from now!! (My experience at least)...
I would say in a couple of weeks you could really notice a difference (but every pregnancy is different also! Confusing, I know!).

Hmm...about the nails part...my hair and my nails both stayed the same. I've heard your hair grows faster and your nails grow faster and stronger but neither happened for me unfortunately. I'm trying to remember my weird pregnancy thoughts but I do have something to share while I was in the hospital PP. I was very medicated (from my c-section) when I first saw my daughter and for some reason could have swore she had 6 toes on one foot. Then that night I dreamt she had 6 toes on one foot so the next day (when I wasn't as medicated) I counted her toes lol.

I think that's normal. I counted both boys fingers and toes repeatedly. I don't know why. LOL. I was drugged up from c-sections too tho. Maybe it's the morphine

I don't think I *ever* counted my kiddos fingers and toes! Maybe THAT is weird! LOL. I've heard so many people say that...I never did it...
I just remember saying REALLY loud "OH THANK YOU JESUS!! I feel so much better now...oh thank you, thank you thank you...Where is he?" with my first
And I can't even remember what I said with my second...I think I just let out a HUGE sigh of relief.
And my third...I got really scared, so I was really quiet. Funny...because when I first actually saw her (about 8 hours after giving birth), I never thought to have count her fingers and toes...I just looked to see that she was breathing.

I don't recall too many weird pregnancy thoughts.
I had MANY recurring nightmares that I'd give birth and my MIL would take my baby. And that's not so far from reality lol My MIL is NUTS.

I'm the biggest skeptic in the world...I still don't believe I'm pregnant! I will sit there and stare at my belly as my ginormous baby moves around in there and it completely changes shape, and feel her foot lodged in my rib and come up with alternate explainations...like, you know, gas or something...REALLY bad gas! I'm still waiting for the camera crew to come out and for the host of some game show to tell me that this was all a cruel joke but that I won a digital camera and a trip to Jamaica, thanks for playing!
I also always have dreams that I give birth to a kitten....and I'm humilated because everyone knows that I had sex with a cat! (I've never had sex with a cat, for the record.... )

I don't remember any wierd thoughts but I can tell you about a wierd craving. When I got preggo with my first, I had been a vegetarian for 10 years. Well around the middle of my pregnancy I started having the strongest cravings for bacon. I was so strange, I didn't even have the slightest clue what bacon would taste like but I wanted it! By the end of my pregnancy I was going out of my mind for bacon!!! I eventually gave in and I've never gone back, lol.

When i was pregnant with Arielle I had a pekinese (male) and he would follow me around and if i was to sit on the couch he would get really close to me and rest his head on my stomach it was really cute. I read that dogs can sense when there owner is preggo.
When i first found out i was preggo with Arielle I said to dh what do we do now. Even though we were ttc her.
Oh and Michelle whatever you do don't color your hair . I put highlights in my hair like 2-3 months before i found out i was pregnant with Arielle and My hair which is naturally blonde turned florescent green but only on the part that you put in a pony tail. It stayed this color until Arielle was i think 3 months old.

I was looking at my greys coming through I knew I couldn't dye my hair anymore. But that's ok.. I hear you shouldn't anyways because it's bad for the baby?

Highlights are ok as long as they don't touch the scalp and you're in a well ventilated area. But no all over color b/c it touches the scalp. I got highlights when I was pregnant.
As far as weird thoughts, I was just terrified of puking in inopportune situations, like in someone's coffee (I worked at a coffee shop at the time). I did puke in Outback parking lot after a yummy (and expensive, sorry MIL and FIL lol) b-day dinner and then in front of our neighbors on our porch in the snow, and in front of a few customers outside my work lol.
