I just spend almost $300 on a Britax Marathon carseat. The Roundabouts ended up being too short for her--well would have been before long. Holy moly. I feel ill.

But I am extremely happy with it so far.. The latch hooks are amazing!

It does hurt, but I promise that you are going to be SO happy with your purchase. We have had Avery's for a long time, and it still looks brand new. The seat Donovan rides around in looks like we pulled it out of the dumpster, even though it's not that old. Plus, Britax are the safest seats on the market, so you can have some piece of mind.

TOTALLY worth it! Think about it, this may very well save your child's life. Definitely worth $300.

Make a few more babies and it'll pay for itself Just teasing! Seriously though, if I had it to do over I totally would have went the Roundabout route!

^I want 4! I think it is worth it in the long run.. I just have to stop thinking about all the other things $300 could have bought. I think I'm just having a monetary breakdown of sorts. LOL I have officially spent close to $8k in less than the past week. It kinda freaks me out!

We are looking at those for Emma right now! We are definitely getting a Marathon or a Roundabout. The infant seat we are using now is a Britax Companion and, although, it seems heavier than my friends' car seats, we are very happy with it.

I would recommend the Marathon. It's not THAT much more than the roundabout, but it fits them for so much longer, making it much more worth it IMO.

Ok this Britax is amazing!! My old convertible seat was sooo hard to clean! You basically had to take the whole seat apart to get the cover off! This one just comes right off, no problem! ANd it is stain-resistant to boot! The latch hooks are sooo amazing!! It has so many handy features that are just great. I'm very happy that I purchased it. It cost a lot, yes, but it has the side impact foam that few others have and I just love it.

I was just going to say the same thing. It was like $40 more I believe, but it will last much longer.
