Okay, I'm sure many of you know (since I'm so darn vocal about it) about my healthy eating habits; all organic whole foods. Well being pregnant has me craving all sorts of things I would never eat. Yesterday I was dying for an Italian sandwich from the deli (which is funny considering I am a vegetarian). I was cleaning out the cupboard yesterday to put away new groceries when I found a box of Rice A Roni; where it came from I have no idea, since we never eat things like that. I cannot get that Rice A Roni out of my head! I must eat it!! What's stopping me is that I know I will eat the whole box, which will end up being about 3000mg of sodium!!! Should I do it? It would make me so happy, but it soooooo bad...

Well you've probably already eaten it by now but I said no because it sounds gross to me, I don't like rice. And just to be different

Cook it and before you eat it, throw half of it away.

Enjoy.

It's the San Francisco Treat!

Good job, Cori! You have to give in every once in awhile or you'll go insane during pregnancy. One package of Rice-a-roni isn't going to hurt you or the baby!

OMG it was soooo good! I was sitting there going "Oh yeah" after every mouthful... thank goodness ds was asleep and dh wasn't home . Then I woke up at 2am with a stomach ache; I guess eating Rice A Roni at 10pm wasn't the brightest idea, but it was worth it! I hope it wasn't a gateway snack...

I said eat it...only because it probably was your body needing something...IE sodium...because we do need some.
