View Poll Results: Raiding the kids' candy
No, its wrong; that candy was intended for the kids! Buy your own, you freeloader!
Well, I cant answer cause we dont do individual candy baskets. Their "bunny" is the only thing that is THIERS. Everything else is put into a big bowl for the family. Each of our baskets have a couple small toys and a book and a chocolate bunny.
I vote "Meh, kids have too much candy anyway." We don't do the easter basket/bunny thing, but the grandparents do. Unfortunately, both grandmothers have a tendency to give age-inappropriate candy; like my mother gave ds a whole case of gum balls...gumballs that are so huge they take up ds' whole mouth; talk about a choking hazard!! So dh brought them to work to hand out to kids. And okay...naughty Mama: ds got a bag of Reese's Pieces Ya'll know about my unnatural fondness for peanut butter, so I ate the whole bag after he went to bed. Seriously, he's THREE; there's no reason for him to have so freakin much candy.
We let Brinlee have a couple things, but not a lot. So... DH and I usually end up eating it, or we throw it all away. I don't see a problem with it. I mean, we buy food for the house... it isn't MY cereal, DH's eggs, DD's crackers. It's just our food... same goes with candy.
