New here and question
I am new on this board and have enjoyed reading through all the comments. It looks like a lot of you have really done some research.
So what in your opinion is the reason so many kids/people have so MANY food allergies these days? I am just curious what you attribute it too.
I had really struggled with gluten/grains and am scared to start my son on them. I think a lot of my issue was from antibiotics destroying my gut flora and so the starch has nothing to help beak it down (haulting fermentation) and then it just rots in my gut and causes inflammation and leaky gut. That's what I think happened to me anyway because I was not born like this.

I wonder the same thing. From what I've read, I'm guessing it's all of the genetically engineered foods we eat now. All of our food (straight from the "farm") has been altered in some way to reduce crop disease and/or increase production. Animals are given antibiotics to prevent disease...etc...etc... We've done a great job in this country of preventing hunger but our food is altered. I'm not one of these strictly organic people or anything but I do believe there's probably a lot of truth to what's happened to our food.
