Gentle ease Enfamil

Hey, I was wondering if anyone has used the Gentlease Enfamil formula in the purple can. My baby is very fussy and gassy and was thinking about trying it. Right now I am feeding her pumped milk and Enfamil Lipil Premium. Thanks

Yea I've used both that and the Similac Sensitive. The difference is the Enfamil is lactose reduced while the Similac is lactose free. The Similac worked better for us for both of our kids. So you could try that and if it doesn't work then go with the Similac. Hope you find your baby some relief, I know how frustrating that is!

You could also try Mylicon gas drops. They can be put directly into the bottle at every feeding. They can help reduce gas.

Kaylin used Gentlease when she was first on formula and it was great for her gas and discomfort from switching from BM to formula :D

We use GentleEase and it has greatly reduced the red-faced grunting gas sessions our girl used to go through.

Re: Gentle ease Enfamil

I have only given her one bottle of the gentle ease so far. I am also BF and pumping. I decided to just give her exclusively breast milk for a week to let all the Enfamil Premium get out of her system and then introduce the gentle ease. I gave her one bottle of it yesterday and she seemed to do fine on it. I am wanting to supplement with 2 bottles of formula a day. But I am also on WIC and just found out yesterday that they won't give me enfamil, only similac. Is the Similac Sensitive like the Enfamil Gentle ease?

Yes, Similac Sensitive is the equivalent of Enfamil Gentlease.

Glad she did well with that one bottle! Hopefully it will keep up!
