Hi and welcome! I'm Tracy and my little guy, Jonah, is well.. little  Your doctor didn't have any suggestions for you? Our ped had suggested adding butter to his meals for some extra calories. Also peanut butter if he isn't allergic, cheese, cream, dairy products.. all to help add calories. My little guy is 22 months and 19lbs, but he's happy. How about pediasure? I don't have a ton of suggestions, sorry!

I am kind of suprised the DR didn't recommend anything. I agree with addig butter to his food and anything else high caolorie. Abbey is only 9mos old so I don't have too much advice..sorry. :(
I would definitley try pediasure tho!

Basically what the others have said...if he doesn't have food allergies get to him to eat as many high calorie foods to his diet as you can...not necessarily junkfood though. Cheese, extra butter, cream cheese, peanut butter, whole milk, etc. If he has food allergies you can PM me and I will find as many suggestions as I can. My DS Danny is allergic to milk, soy, eggs, tomatoes, carrots, and celiac's disease which means he can't have wheat, barley, rye, oats or ANYTHING derived from them so if he has allergies definitely let me know and I will find a few things for you to try!!! Welcome!!!

Olive oil to cook the veggies, peanut butter and crackers, Ovaltine, Pediasure (any of those sorts of things), avocado as veg or as spread, extra eggs, cream, and so on. We're having to fatten up 2 kids for different resaons. Milo doesn't take anything but formula and BM, which we fortify or make higher-calorie.

Good luck! I hope that Jonah gains weight soon!
