Do you believe orbs are spirits?

I think its possible but improbable that most photos taken that claim to contain orbs actually do.

I will admit that I've also seen some very convincing pictures too.

I have a pic that was taken of my friend and my 2 youngest kids. The pic was taken with a digital camera and out of about 15 pic's taken while we were there there was only one that has it. Let me download it to photobocket and I will show you.

Not to say that it absolutely couldn't be a spirit, but it looks mire like a speck of dust got very close to the shutter/flash and was then too close to focus.

If they've had experiences in the location though then I'd say anything is possible!

A friend of mine did some work on a house with her mom (in my hometown in tx) and they had a ton of experiences in the house. They took a photo of each room to do a before and after type thing because the house was just totally trashed and was being remodeled to be a bed and breakfast. The house was one of the first homes in the small town and was owned by one of the founding families so it was very old. Supposedly at one point it even housed soldiers during a war, complete with servant's quarters in a separate building in the back.. very very historic and cool home.

Anyway, they took a photo of one of the rooms, the only thing I know to call it is a livingroom or formal sitting room. It had a huuuge fireplace in it and no photos on the walls. It did have that crown molding that's put up on the walls to make square frames on the walls though. They took the photo and in the square frame above the mantle there was a blurred "painting" and along with that there were several very large and almost transparant orbs.

I wish I had the picture because it was a very fascinating photo but I don't. She showed it to me after it was developed but we're no longer friends anymore. This was one of the only photos that convinced me that orbs were really something viable as paranormal.

I have a picture to share, it is probably just dust but who knows...We have never had any paranormal experiences in this house, it was built in 1960 and we have lived her for about 3 years. This picture was taken a few weeks after my husbands grandmother died. I was snapping away with the camera trying to get good pics of DH playing with our dog and this is the only one that came out like this:

Yes, I do believe. I've seen them without a camera. And it was in Alaska...no fireflies up there (tho the orbs are white, not yellow). I try to debunk everything before I jump to the 'paranormal' line of thought.

Your pics are what I would personally consider orbs. I think its odd that they're "following" Jordana (that's what it looks like to me, they're always tracing her in a sense) and a never far from her. They don't look to me like they're spots on your camera lense, bugs or dust that are out of focus. Also, they're never blurred either.

I read your post in the PR (I've been addicted to Am I Pregnant boards lately, I didn't see it on the 16th ) and considering all that has been going on I -think- you may have something small going on. Maybe someone can give you input. Feel free to start another thread like the one you did in the PR if you want anyone's input on it.

Yes absolutely... My brother and I were at my aunt's house there was a light on her wall by her back door on the RIGHT side, well in this picture there was a bright light on our left side. It was the first time since my grandfather was alive that my brother, myself and grandmother had been together. I SWEAR it was him visiting... it was a few days later she passed away in the hospital from a stroke, the creepy thing is I was looking at the clock at exactly 6:20pm then she left us at that moment.

Another photo which I took with my BB recently had this interesting round, red orb glow... or like an aura and there was nothing around to create it... also I had taken a succession of pictures so there was no way it was in any of the other pics.

Oh and another semi-recent pic in a state park I often go to hike in... I had taken several photos in the same area and there was a huge orb right in front of me on the right side taking up a third of the photo. I will try to post it here.
