I noticed from the intro page that I haven't updated. Haven't really been online a whole lot because we bought our land!
Southern MO, 16 acres, split. FIL has 5 acres and on the other side of the road we have 11 acres. We're in the cabin right now (like a shack cabin) and fixing it up a bit just to make it liveable.
We are hauling in our own water and have a water system rigged up outside as well as an outdoor shower DH built.
In the next month or so we'll have a contractor come out and build a "mini" modular cabin for 4K and DH will build onto that. We'll still have to rig our own water/showering/toilet needs through the winter. Next spring we'll start either the cob home or the Earthship.
Animals: one husky and 3 kittens, hoping to get some ginny chicks soon to kill the bugs and donkey/goats next year, as well as real chickens for eggs/meat.
