Anyone dealing with snakes? We have copperheads here!!! The first one we found was dead, smashed by the tractor that was logging. The next day there were 2 in the front yard that DH and FIL killed and last night as I was going outside I noticed a snake track, got the flashlight and saw the track went under the truck.... right where I was about to walk. Eeeek!

I've heard that we have rattlesnakes out here but I've never seen any, thank goodness. We do have a lot of bull snakes. We found one in Dh's shop the other night. Hopefully it'll keep the mouse population down.

We have pigmy rattlesnakes here. I haven't seen a single one in the 18 months we have lived here, but DH has ran into a couple while mowing.

The best way to keep them at bay is to keep the grass short. They don't like to move where they aren't hidden b/c predators can see them easier.
