Take a little minute to let us get to know you!

My name is Shawn-Joy and I am 26 (will be 27 next month)! I am married to Marko and mommy to Elizabeth who just turned two in June. I am IN LOVE with the Sookie Stackhouse books. My whole life was on hold during the less than two weeks it took me to blow through the first 9 books. My co-workers were laughing at me because the second I would finish one I would get right up from my desk and walk down to the book store. LOL Thank God for that book store.

Hi there! Too bad this group hasn't picked up more, lol. Just wanted to say I LOVE these books. I'm currently reading All Together Dead. I pretty much need a cold shower after reading, but my husband doesn't mind,

They are well written, entertaining and HOT!

My name is Kristina and i guess i'm still considered a newbie over here at Just Mommies. I actually am just over visiting from the BBC since some of us girls are considering switching.

I am currently on book 4 of the series. I loved the HBO series and was super excited when i found out it was based on these books.

Hey Ladies! I want to try and do more to get this board moving because I know there are a lot of people who love these books.

Natalie, I totally know what you mean about the cold shower. Whew. haha

Kristina, I just finished watching Season 2. I get that the TV show is going to be a little different from the books but geez they changed a lot. I still love the show though and can NOT wait until June to see season 3.

Hi! Im Ari I am a 31 almost 32 year old married SAHM to 3 beautiful kids. I just started the books maybe 2 weeks ago. I finished Dead and Gone yesterday morning. I seen online she will have another one out in May 2010. I hate the wait! LOL After reading the books and am now looking forward to watching the Tv series.

Hi! I am Jeanie and I am preggers with my first. I just started by 2nd trimester. While I was suffering from "all day sickness" I got hooked on the True Blood series. Then I found out they were books. I just got the first book a couple days ago and I am getting ready to finish it. I can't wait for season two to come out on dvd so I can watch it!

Hi, I'm Cindy. I'm a mommy to two little boys and co-host of the NCB board. I fond these books after reading the Twilight series. While, no books compare to the TW saga anymore, these books were still lots of fun to read and now my DH and I also enjoy watching True Blood on HBO.

Janna here. 30. Mommy of 2 and preggers.

I'm like Shawna Joy. I finished the first 9 books in 2 weeks. I bought the book set that has the first 8 books in the series. I know book #10 is out but I'm waiting for the paperback as I hate, hate, hate hardcovers.

I LOVE the show too. Yes, it's different from the books but then that means stuff isn't ruined for us - we can't tell what is coming from having read the books. It's like getting 2 for 1.

Hi ladies! Just found this group! I started reading the books years ago, got off them then recently re-read the entire series. Trying now to watch True Blood, not liking it anywhere near as much as the books.
BTW- I'm Sam- I'm the host of TTCOM and active on several other boards on JM.
