Im not trying to cause any arguements, this is more out of query.
Ive just been on the Duggars website & saw their expect their 18th child in Jan 09
That will mean all 18 kids will have a name starting with 'J'

This is more to see what eveyones opinions are;

How many kids do you want;
Do you think 18 is to many;
Would you use the same letter to name all 18;

Wow.
No offence to anyone, but I think that family just... just a little bit out there.
Just a bit.

I personally want anywhere from 3-6 kids. I grew up in a family of 9 (7 natural, two were cousins that were adopted into the family) and a lot of close cousins that I regarded as siblings, so I want my children to have that camaraderie, but I don't think I could handle more than 6 or 7.
I do think 18 is too much. No matter how much love is in the family, with 18 kids, someone is getting left out.
And what really creeps me out, particularly about this case, is that they're all named alike and dressed alike - it leaves no room for individuality.
All my children will have distinctly different names - no sound-alikes!

I always thought I wanted 3-4 kids, but we're having our second tomorrow and that is it. For my health (and sanity LOL) it is best for us to stop here. However, each family is different and needs to make that decision for themselves.

I think 18 children is too many for ME.

And I wouldn't use the same letter for each of their names.... plus I don't even like that many names, let alone that many names starting with the same letter!
