Do you have any special plans for this weekend?

Our wedding anniversary is the 16th, so we do stuff for that. DH bought me a spa package for Sunday (facial, prenatal massage, and haircut) and then we're going to Monterey/Carmel (California coast) from Monday-Wednesday (with Lily). I set up a ski trip for him and his best friend the next weekend in Tahoe.

We just got back from ours! We went to see Sherlock Holmes and then had dinner at a really fancy sushi restaurant. SIL bought us gift cards for Christmas, so we decided to cash them in this weekend. It was wonderful!

Daryl even bought me a box of candies, which is SO unlike him. I was just complaining in my PR about how he hardly ever does anything to show me he's been thinking about me. So that was really nice :)

Oh sushi sounds fabulous! I told DH it was between sushi and hibachi for dinner tonight.... he picked hibachi. I can't wait!

Twinkle, I didn't get any sushi, was the sad thing :( When I was pregnant with Jonah, I went out for sushi with my best friend and something about the mixed textures set my gag reflex off, big time, so I thought I'd better avoid it. DH got sushi and teased me while I had veggies and roast duck. But the miso and tempura were fabulous, and completely made up for not being able to have sushi!

I hope you enjoyed your hibachi!!! There's a hibachi place near us that I've been dying to try
