Have you had a baby born en caul? Do you wish to?

No i havent, my water didnt break until the pushing stage with my last 2. I dont really have strong feelings either way about having a baby in the caul, i guess it would be kinda cool

I think one of my births would have been en caul, but my MW broke my water both times. This is a new MW and I want this birth to be hands off, so we'll see!

Payson was born in hers but it broke before we brought her to my chest.

My son ALMOST was... once his shoulders were out, it finally broke on it's own! I was completely shocked and didn't realize that could happen at that time.

It's amazing what can happen when birth is left to happen naturally. I never knew it could happen either!
