She had the baby last night at 10:35pm. A healthy baby girl, in water. It was beautiful, mom and baby are wonderful.

I am totally hooked now, I don't think I can stop, I want to do this again and again...

brandy, thank god for women like you that continue to serve pregnant women in a home environment and are advocates for a natural birth... or just for the mother's wishes instead of telling her how her body should act.. THANK YOU!
sounds like you really found your element

Thank you!

It is so hard here, there are no registered midwives, there are 3 OBs and over 80 babies born a month. Many women seek homebirths, this particular mother did. Midwifery isn't covered by healthcare (which means you have to pay out of pocket whereas a Dr/hospital is 100% covered) and costs $3000 currently. This mother wanted to do that, hire a midwife, but there were none for hire. I was in the same spot when I had Julius. She approached my friend and myself and we helped her have her homebirth.
