Congratulations! I'm also pregnant with a "Jackson". I was told at 20wks that my placenta was low lying-but bc the placenta is so big in comparison to the size of the uterus, it is extremely common for it to be low and partially or completely covering the cervix at this point-over 90% will resolve themselves as the uterus grows. Mine was fine by 28wks. It's more common for it not to move if you've have previous uterine surgeries (due to scar tissue). So think positively-odds are greatly in your favor.

oh thank you so much!! you don't know how much that made me feel better. i didn't have any problems with kaylynn....and she was my first so no surgeries before. i'll have another u/s around 27 weeks so i'm hoping for a good report!

What fantastic u/s pictures! I haven't personally had experience with placenta previa but I've known a number of women who had it in early u/s and then it resolved by the 3rd trimester. Congratulations on your little boy :D

Aww, he's darling already! I'm so glad he decided to cooperate after all. Off to update that due date list now! :D

No placenta issues here, but a good friend had a partial previa that resolved itself fairly quickly - apparently it's not that uncommon. Hoping yours rights itself by your next appointment!

so glad to hear that its not so uncommon. hopefully i'll have good news at my next u/s!!
