My morning has been miserable.. Actually that doesn't even come close to describing it. Taej and Ziah cried almost the entire hour I was at the studio.. And ya know apparently when you have 4 kids your just nuts , and when they are having bad days I have to listen to the other moms comments @@..argghhhhhh... Then I really had no choice but to hit WalMart..ugh..they were horrible and to boot they lost ANOTHER order of pictures ..I am sooo done ordering from them. . I needed my card cleared so I have room on it for this weekend.. UGH..oh and to top it all off my mother was working , days because of the remodel.. Well she tells me she is working all day Friday and sat and wonders why I was upset.. um..you promised me you would watch the kids while I worked at the recital and somehow got Noah to his grandparents 30 minutes away!!!! So now I am double stressed.. Add to that Noah is just doing everything he can to drive me and the little kids nuts...aghhh.. At some point he is going to realize he's not their parent right????

I want to curl up in a ball and cry right now.. I am sooo glad we are going to the movies ( a few HSIng moms and I)

Oh Alison! HUGE :dothug: girl! I can empathize with the kids' behavior in town. I took Jack to the eye doctor yesterday and I wanted to strangle the little imp! (not really, but you get the point) I hope the day gets better for you and you can work something out for this weekend.

Geez! Huge :dothug: !!! Hopefully it will all get better and you can enjoy your time and weekend.

I can very much relate to the part about being crazy for having 4 kids. I went out yesterday with my four and the younger 2 were misbehaving in the cart and I was on them and I was getting this look from these women like I shouldn't even be there, but you know you have to do your shopping when you can. And this was when I could get out to the store, so I was there. Today wasn't much better, but I know for my 2 youngest I believe they are felling the stress of my husband and I with trying to sell our house and we have had a few showings this week and every time we have some showings, those 2 act up. Before we went into the grocery store today I threatened to take away every privilege, toy, anything fun for the rest of the day if they didn't act like they had some manners and some common sense. It seemed to work.
I do hope that things get better for you. My 10 year old doesn't boss anyone around, that would be my 5 year old. :-) I don't know how you can try to resolve that though. I just send my to her room every time if I can. Hope your day improves from here and you have a nice time at the movies.

:ditto: Yuck!!! I feel you today! The boys were AWFUL this morning! I swear Robbie has the whine down to a science!!! And, in Walmart, no matter how many times I told them to get down and stop climbing, Jay and Robbie HAD to try to climb the side of the cart....at the same time! I turned my head for half a second to get something off the shelf....and they turned the cart over!! WITH Ara still in it! Thankfully no one was hurt. But boy did I get dirty looks and THOSE comments. How sweet and encouraging people are.... :angry2:

I truly hope that things get better for you! Huge Hugs sweetie!!!!

There's nothing more stressful than taking 4 kids to Walmart!

Heck, and I thought 2 were bad. You ladies with 3+...I don't envy the not so fun times!

Bryce tries to parent Scotty constantly. It is the age difference. It is not really bossing...it is bossing, tattling, screaming at Scotty, etc. "NO SCOTTY DON'T TOUCH MY PLAY STATION 2 GAMES!!" "NO SCOTTY, YOU ARE NOT BIG ENOUGH TO GET A POPSICLE BY YOURSELF." Notice the screaming I am doing in this type! :( It drives me bonkerZ.

This is my biggest issues with homeschooling more than one child. I can see how wonderful it will be with Scotty when Bryce is back in school! Isn't that awful?????? As much as I wish I could homeschool Bryce, I find myself at times thinking "YAY, school starts in just over a month!"

BAD MOMMY! I know......

wolfpack June 20th, 2007 03:52 PM

Rebecca, that isn't bad. We wouldn't be normal if we didn't want to send our kids back to the stork at least once in a while! Besides, I lived with an ADHD brother, remember? Honey, I FEEL you!!!

And Alison, I pray that your day got better hon!!! Hugs!!!

Something's in the air. Even Cameron has been a bit cantankerous today and usually he is my perfect angel. He went in the street alone, he kept getting on our kitchen counters, he knocked over our waffle iron (broke the plastic casing but it still works), and has just generally been acting crazy. Ani went on my laptop yesterday after I specifically told her not to. Fritz is still refusing to nap more than an hour a day. Ai yi yi.

MissyPrincessEha June 21st, 2007 05:30 PM

Oh my word...the walmart trip. Now what is strange is that my kids only act up in Walmart. I can take them to Target, the mall, out to eat, to the nice Brookshire's (grocery) and they are angels. I think that walmart is so crazy that it makes them feel crazy. I mean...it makes me crazy. I don't go if I don't have to.

I wish things have gotten better..but they have NOT.. last night I went out with 2 HSing friends and laughed my butt off for 4 hours..but I paid..oh did I today. I really just wantt o curl up and cry.. tomorrow I leave them all for the entire day except to get Declan at 4 and take him to dres rehearsal.. I am looking forward to it and dreading it all the same.. Monday morning at 8am we go into "boot camp mode"..I am hauling them all in and reteaching the rules and regulations..lol
