Rolling over

I see that a lot of our LOs are starting to roll over. However Marcos is 9 weeks and doesn't seem anywhere close to doing it - doesn't even try! Not worried though since I know every baby does things at their own pace.

Whose LOs have yet to reach this milestone?

Henry rolled front to back at 4 weeks, but has only done it a handful of times since. He rolled over back to front once a few weeks ago, but has yet to do it again.

Audrey has rolled from front to back a few times, she always seems so surprised when she does it, as if she goes "Oh my goodness... I CAN MOVE!"

Finn is 13 weeks and isn't there yet. He hates tummy time with the fire of 1000 suns, so all he does when he's on his tummy is cry. I think once he realizes that he can roll over he'll work hard to master it.

Yeah, same with Marcos. When I put him face down on his playmat he doesn't last more than 2 minutes without crying. He has a pretty strong neck and will do tummy time on my chest so I figure that's good enough.

some just dont like tummy time like others but even 2 mins is great! even if that is done several times a day ..it still is building his strength but at his own pace.

Tummy time on chest works just as well - better in my experience because some babies will try harder if they're on mom or dad. She's rolled over on accident a few times, she started at like 4 1/2 weeks.

Ryan rolled over for the first time last week, he was 12 weeks then, but he hasn't done it since. He's tried a few times but it's alright. He used to hate tummy time but now he doesn't seem to mind it as much, especially because we do it like 3 times a day. Soon enough all of our babies will be rolling over and crawling, it just takes time to build up that strength. I'm fine waiting for him, even though it'll be super cute watching him crawl around I'll have to keep the house and floor a lot cleaner than I do now so I can totally wait for him to get stronger :)

So today at 13 weeks Marcos finally rolled from tummy to back. We started cheering and clapping and he was looking at us all surprised like "What the hell???"

As far as back to tummy, he can almost roll to his side but it's a work in progress.
