Huge relief!

I am soooooooooo relieved right now! I had been really stressing about money. We are moving into our new house on Friday. It's an awesome house, but we don't have nearly enough furniture and a lot of the furniture we have is in dire need of replacement. And, since we are moving, we haven't bought any of the big things we need for this baby. As if on cue, the insurance company that pays me for the work that I do majorly screwed up and I haven't been paid for any about 70% or more of the work I have done so far in 2013. It looks like it will be a month or more until they get that straight and I finally get paid. Things were not looking good for us as far as getting any of the things we need any time soon. We finally heard back from our CPA today about our taxes and we should be getting a major refund! I was worried about the possibility of owing money because our taxes were super complicated this year. I know it will be a while before the money actually shows up, but it is nice to know that between the money the insurance company owes me and the tax refund, we should be able to get the house in order before the baby comes. So much stress has just been relieved. Does anyone who did their taxes early know how long it's taking to get refunds back this year?

That's great news :) It took us about 10 days to get ours back.

We're kinda biting our nails about taxes, too lol. We haven't filed yet and the last time we waited until the end of March to do it we had to wait a looooong time.

That is amazing to hear! That is far less time than it will take me to get paid. Hope ours arrives that quickly!

I'm so happy everything is working out financially for you and your family. My DH is a 1099 employee so his return took like an extra 2 weeks than mine but still didnt take too long you should get it within 3 weeks at the most. Mine took like maybe 10 days and I am a w2 employee. Hope my answer helped :)
