Awkward Question about Breastmilk Leaking? *TMI Warning*

I haven't ever encountered this before and I was hoping someone might have an answer!

Last night was the first time I actually leaked a little bit of breast milk while in the shower. (Just out of one side) and today, that nipple is really sore? Is this something to be concerned about?

My colostrum is on its way in as well and my nipples have also been sore. I think it's ok.

I've noticed the same recently. I'm pretty sure this about the same time I started leaking with my second, too. And I've been pretty sore from the beginning.

I'd say that's normal! Just your boobs getting ready for milk production :) All good signs! But if it gets too sore or very painful then definitely let your doc know

I've been a member of the leaky titty committee for a few weeks and my nipples have been tender and almost always hard since about 5 months+

I'm actually shocked (and a bit worried!) that I have not seen any leaking so far. I mean, I've got dried stuff but no actual "leaks." I started leaking in my 7th month with Alex. No extreme soreness but I also can't remember, lol. I do remember them hardening at the drop of a hat.

so normal :) I'm not sure if I leak, since I still nurse.

I started early with all my other kids too. This time is just little beads.

So far no leaking for me, but definitely getting a bit tender. I don't remember very clearly, but I don't think I leaked at all prior to DD being born - nothing much really happened until my milk came in around day 3 postpartum.
