Day time naps

I know Ava is 1 if the youngest, at 6.5 weeks old, but she hardly sleeps during the day and when he does finally give in and sleep she ony has 30 minutes here and there!

I cant complain though as she is sleeping 7:30pm til 5/6am most night and then feeds and sleeps till 9am

Zack will be 8 weeks old on Friday. He still takes 2 good naps during the day and then little 10-15 minutes cat naps. He still eats right before bed, then gets up once and then again early in the morning.

I wish Ariana would stop napping during the day and slept all night. She usually takes like 4 naps a day and they're all long naps. I can not wait until she starts being awake more during the day.

Re: Day time naps

G is getting a little unsettled (he's doing that 2-month-milestone thing where he's randomly agitated and not sleeping when he usually would), but his usual thing is one good nap in the morning (1-2 hours) and one good nap in the afternoon (1-2 hours) with several 20-40 minute catnaps sprinkled in there throughout the day. Occasionally he will sleep in the bouncer but usually he is either in a baby carrier or in someone's arms (usually mine unless a grandparent is watching him while I go to a PT appointment or something). He sleeps very well at night.

Re: Day time naps

Aidan is pretty much sleeping from 7:30/8:00p til 5 or 6a waking up only once about 2 hours after he goes down. During the day, he'll take 1 good long nap (1.5-3 hrs), 1 shorter nap (1 hr) and several 15-45 min naps sprinkled about. I'm good with this but we need a sort of schedule because DD starts school in 2 weeks and he'll need to be awake at 8am and 12:15p for drop off and pick up.

Re: Day time naps

Morgan does not typically nap for more than 45 minutes at a time, but she does sleep for anywhere from 7-9 straight hours at night so I'm not going to complain one bit.

Anna was only doing cat naps for about 2 weeks and still not sleeping that good at night. About a week ago she starting having regular 2 hour naps and got on a schedule. However, yesterday and today she's been completely off kilter. I think she may be teething, though. :(

Payson takes a short nap shortly after waking up in the morning, usually about 40 minutes, then she is up for an hour or two eats for a good 40 minutes then sleeps about 3/4 hours. She then cat naps until she goes to bed for the night usually about 10. Pretty much the same pattern as my older children.

Giana goes down at night anywhere from 1030-1130pm until 7-8am and has one big nap from 1230/1pm until 4-5pm. In the AM she will do x1-2 20min catnaps and in the PM she also does x1-2 15min catnaps plus a 1-2hr nap usually around 630/7pm- 9/10pm. And even if she naps late, she will still be down for bed a night.

Re: Day time naps

Aubrey does not take good naps for me. Sometimes at the daycare she will take a really long one, but other than that she cat naps all day. She does sleep good at night so that is great, but on the weekends she only takes a good nap if I am holding her and nap with her.
