Climbing

Is your little one climbing up on everything? Have you found a way to get them to stop climbing?

Jacob climbs on everything and drives me nuts. He was climbing on the stove by putting his foot on the handle to the drawer so we removed the drawer but now he has figured out how to put his feet on top of the drawer and climb that way. I can't leave the kitchen when I'm cooking something for fear that he will try to climb up and burn his hands or pull something off. I am considering just pulling the drawer out and finding somewhere else to put my pots and pans until he gets bigger. I have no way to keep him out of the kitchen.

And don't let me get started on everything else he is climbing up on and falling off of. We have hard wood floors so when he climbs up on to the couch and then starts acting nuts and falls off it of course hurts his little head. I'm ready for him to realize that he can fall off of things..lol.

Archer just recently started climbing everything. I was hoping he wasn't going to start. No such luck. Hardwood floors here too. But he doesn't fall too much.

Re: Climbing

Kira has some things she climbs on, but thankfully hasn't figured out that she can climb up onto tables or counters. The most she does is climb onto a kitchen chair and then sit at the table.
