Such a drag!

Ive reached the last three weeks of pregnancy and I feel so HUGE!!

None of my shirts look cute anymore.

I dont mind living in sweats till the baby is born but I work and go to school.
So how do I stay comfortable yet still a little decent?

I don't have any helpful ideas, but I'm in the same boat. I am working for another week and am at the point where pants and underwear is just SO uncomfortable.. I get home and the pants come off... DH finds it hilarious..but even jammie bottoms aren't comfy anymore :(

Yea!!

Even my pajama pants and shorts are awful!
I am uncomfortable in anything and everything.

The sweats I once loved are now never being worn. My daily wardrobe is an ugly shirt and shorts with a waistband that stretchs! Lol

I'm upset because it is finally flip flop season but my feet look horrible due to the swelling! Ugh. And a lot of my maternity pants don't look so hot on me anymore because they are getting tight. Luckily, I'm not one who cares too much about appearances so it doesn't bother me too much. I just feel bad for those I work with who have to see my fat feet and icky thighs!

Hahaha.

Lol I gave up on flip flops. With my ugly fat toes now.

So far, I'm good for work clothes but I look like quite the slob at home. I'm wearing DH's old shirts and sweats and they are just terrible. I noticed the pair I have on today have a part of the crotch that is just the mesh the sweatpant material used to attach to. NICE!!

Awe!!

Well the bright side most of us have less the 3 weeks to go. It could be any day for some.

Really? any kind of dress?

Re: Such a drag!

The maternity dresses I've tried on looked horrible! It was like wearing a tent.

Re: Such a drag!

Yea
Ill avoid a dress
I just put one on here at the mall... I looked like a traffic barrel!

EverydayJoy April 18th, 2013 05:22 PM

Re: Such a drag!

LOL @ the traffic barrel comparison....was it orange with white stripes? Hehe.

Maybe try skirts? If you could get one that sits low on your hips (under the belly) and is nice and flowy, maybe it would be more comfy than pants.

Re: Such a drag!

Haha...
It was suppose to be a nice orange but I looked awful!!

I rather be naked at this point.

Dang...too bad you're not part of a nudist colony! Haha.

TeeCee April 18th, 2013 06:30 PM

Re: Such a drag!

Lol I live along.
I don't think being naked is a crime in personal space lol

Re: Such a drag!

Nope not at all! Flaunt what you got! haha.

TeeCee April 18th, 2013 07:26 PM

Re: Such a drag!

Haha...

I think my biggest drag is the fact I still have to be in public for two weeks before my exams for school and I am training my part time replacement for work.

Re: Such a drag!

Dresses are so close to being naked! I bought a great black maxi-dress at target. The maxi-dress style is going to be the most "slimming," especially in black. I have two other knee-length dresses that are sleeveless and deep v-neck, and they're both fairly flattering. So, no, not just ANY dress, but there are definitely styles that work, and the comfort trade-off is totally worthwhile.

I have about 6 maxi dresses that I have for the rest of the pregnancy and after. They are easy for recovery and I get the strapless ones so they are easy for breastfeeding too.
