The dogs started whimpering to go out, we looked out and saw GEESE!

I got some bread out and we fed them, they came close to us...

Then one came right up to Dave!

Here he is feeding one, it's eating right from his hand...

Oh so neat!

We use to have them where we lived before. I liked feeding them! :D

I like feeding them too, but I've never seen one come right up and eat out of a hand like that! It just was so much fun...

Neat. We had a wild turkey in our campsite once. At work we always have geese in the front yard. But on occasion we get deer also. Dh is bizarre for the city. But dh says the deer follow the train tracks(which are near work)when grain cars come through. They eat the grain that falls off the cars.

Thats really cool :)

My great grandmother's old house on the lake [they sold it some years ago, and the people that own it now ued to lease it so my family would rent it for a week, LOL], the ducks would come right up and eat out your hand --- or get the worms off fishing pools --- or attempt to.
