Hello everyone my name is julie and I have a precious baby girl her name is Shaniah Lee born 3/7/2014 , she is growing big and eats 6 once bottles every 3-4 hours , I bought some stage one baby food over the weekend and i want to introduce her to spoon feeding. Of course i will still be giving her bottles still but my question is at 4 and half months is it ok to give her baby food and how much should i give her any insight will help. Also what about Cereal how old is too young to give cereal? Thanks Julie

I've been told between 4 and 6 months to start introducing cereal and around 6 months to start with baby foods.

Thanks I have heard about the same from most other moms, my baby girl will be 5 months in two days and i just started giving he baby food not all the time but she has fruit (baby food) and a 6 once formula bottle for breakfas about 4 hours later she eats another 6 once formula bottle and then i give her fruit and another 6 once bottle 3 hours later and then her last feeding before bed she has veggies (baby food) and a 6 once cereal bottle ( round 9-930 pm) and shes down for the count until next morning (around 7 am) and shes been doing great! She loves to eat from a spoon!!
