We went for the u/s and they couldn't find a heartbeat. I should be 8 weeks, they kept asking if my dates could be off a few weeks (they are not). There was a sac, but couldn't really see anything in it, so looks like the baby stopped growing a few weeks ago. I go in tomorrow for counseling for the D&C and blood-work to check hcg levels, but I know what they will find.

Today has been a nightmare.

I hope to get my rainbow baby soon, but will be avoiding jm in the mean time.

So sorry to hear this. Please look into all options before getting the D&C. They often aren't needed and having them can make it harder to get pregnant again in the future.

I am SO sad to read this! I went through the exact same thing this past August and it was just devastating! :dothug: mama! :(
