FAM vs. NFP

What made you choose FAM vs. NFP? Or NFP vs. FAM?

NFP - religious reasons, no temping (I was up at night breastfeeding my son still)

I didn't like the abstaining portion of NFP. With FAM I could still use a barrier of some sort.

NFP because it has a higher effectiveness. On a practical level, I wouldn't trust a barrier if I knew it was a fertile day. On a more emotional level, we wouldn't like anything between us during the most intimate part of our relationship. Rather than put things between us, we'd rather wait until we can be fully together. You know...fasting makes the feast more enjoyable. LOL

I can't do condoms because of allergies.

For me it is sorta how Shawna described it. Sex is a more important thing to me than society makes it, I like it the way it was designed to be. And also religious reasons.
