Family

Does your family know of your method of choice (ie, mom/dad)?

Um no....they just think we are not doing anything. We are very traditional so we only use NFP if there is a good reason...which we have. Anway, no they don't know.

I don't think that one of my brothers do. Everyone else does. My in-laws don't know what we do to prevent. All they know is that we do prevent.

Yes, they all know. My family is just loud like that. We all know everything about each other. LOL

I'm sure my parents just assume that we use NFP - I can't remember ever really talking about it with them but they know we would never use birth control.
Not sure what the ILs think. I would be fine sharing with them about NFP but it isn't something that comes up in everyday conversation. I'm sure it will in the future though - DH's siblings have already teased us about having two kids - as if that is a large family!!

Re: Family

My mom knows that I'm not on BCP anymore because I called her a lot throughout the decision process. She doesn't know that we've switched from condoms to NFP though, so of course neither does my dad. Nick's parents don't know for the same reason, it's not like it really comes up in conversation lol. However, it's not a secret, a few of his relatives know and some of our friends do too.

Re: Family

Idk if they know many of the details, but they do know about it...like for instance we're at dinner at my FIL's once and he says "Oh, but you guys are Catholic (he is historically, but not currently), so you don't use birth control." And my SIL looks up like he's out of his mind and says "I'm Catholic, and I use birth control." And I couldn't help but think well, that is kinda un-Catholic...but I suppose it isn't my place to judge *raises eyebrow*
