3 weeks off BCP--Lo loestrin, any one else with experience with this?

So, we decided to NTNP about 3-4 weeks ago after I finished my last pack of lo-loestrin(a pill where I have not gotten a period the entire time I've been on it). I did stop it once in December of last year to make sure "everything was working" and got my period, like..5 days later. Went back on the Sunday after finishing my cycle.

This time, like I said, stopped the pill about 3-4 weeks ago, and still no AF! Have been taking PTs and everything has been negative thus far, including one I took 2 days ago--so clearly not the issue.

Starting to feel little pangs where my ovaries are, some slight cramping (but nothing like what I remember my cramps being when I got my cycles),more headaches, sore boobs/nipples(Sorry if this is TMI, I'm new), and my cervix is way high and relatively soft this morning. A lot more pee breaks lately, but I'm thinking it might be the coffee intake I've stepped up the past week. My legs have been more achy--yes, I am training for a marathon--but they seem worse then usual.

So anyone with more experience/clues then I have, please weigh in. It concerns me that I still haven't had AF come to town...but maybe my recent symptoms are PMS? AM I totally being dumb because I've forgotten what my cycle is supposed to be like?? Is it worth taking more tests since I haven't had AF yet?

Anything will help, I feel like I'm a little crazy, haha. We aren't trying, but we'd both be over the moon if a BFP came up, :D

Did you ever get AF? Early pregnancy and PMS symptoms are so similar it's hard to go by just that.

That period that you got in December would of just been a withdrawal bleed though. Generally speaking it is quite normal to wait 3 months until getting your cycle back after BCP. It can even take up to a year.

I wouldn't rely on your symptoms for PG or PMS, it could be PMS but it could also just be that your hormones are going crazy trying to balance out and come right. I'm speaking for experience ;)

What were your cycles like before going on the pill? How long were you on it for?
Once AF does eventually arrive, I really suggest BBT charting. It will help you to see if you are ovulating, predict when AF will show, etc. Because your body is busy going through an adjustment, you could have ALL the signs pointing to ovulation but not ovulate... several times. BBT will be good in pinpointing which time you actually DO ovulate and take the guess work out of it. You could actually just start temping now already, even though its recommended to wait til your next cycle... You have no idea when that will be so either you will still be able to catch O or your AF will come within the next 2 weeks, either way its a win :D

Good luck!! Keep us updated :)

SHE CAME! FINALLY! AF came back last night--I never thought I'd be so happy to see her, lol!

I had started Vitex, Raspberry Leaves, and Dong Quai--and I'm not sure how much it helped...but she's back. I'm got a tracker on my phone, so that's what I'm doing as of last night :)

Thank you for your input, ladies :)
