How did you tell your families that you were expecting?

Very uncreative, we just kind of blurted it out to each set of parents. I was nervous!

How many hours of sleep do you get a day?

Not as many as I would like. Usually around 7.

What's your favorite holiday?

Oooh, that's a toss up. I love Halloween very much. I also adore Thanksgiving because I am obsessed with food.

Have you ever broken any bones?!

Surprisingly no!! I have never even had stitches until I had to get two last year for a cyst I had removed.

How many children do you want to have?

I would prefer two, but I am willing to try for three if we don't get a boy and a girl. Hubby recently decided he wants three. I laughed and said we'll see how you feel after two.

Was this baby planned or a surprise?

Both! We were actively trying, but we both thought it was going to take us a long time due to family histories of problems, but I am very glad it didn't! It took us 4 months.

Describe yourself in one word

Quirky.

What's the first word that comes to your head when I say this phrase: Shark Week

What is your dream job?

To read books of my choosing all day! Or food tester, hehe.

What's the first word that comes to your head when I say this phrase: Shark Week

Haha!! It's going to have to be more than one word. My husband is afraid of sharks but loves Shark Week. I was in Milwaukee visiting a friend and he calls me saying that he is afraid to get off of the bed after watching Shark Week. It's like, Jason!!! There are no sharks on the carpeted floor!! Dork. Also, one time Air Jaws came on and he fell backwards out of his chair. Haha!

Actually, we are cheapos and we don't even have basic cable. I watch a lot of TV on DVD though, or netflix!

How many hours do you spend online in a week?

Honestly, way more than I like. I am online most of the day at work so I try to avoid it when I go home, but work gave us an iPad and I find myself on that a lot too. I don't like being so "connected" all the time, but it's a hard habit to break.

Have you felt baby move yet?

No! I hope I do soon though!

Did you read 50 Shades of Grey?

....did you read all three of them?

First of all, I like all your questions Nicole! No I did not read them. I wanted to because I like sexy things, but I read an excerpt online and the characterization was laughable to me and the writing was so poor I couldn't stand it (no offense to anyone who liked them! Don't hate me!).

I did listen to Gilbert Godfrey reading out of it though, and that was just absolutely amazing. Ha! If you haven't heard it, you should google it.

do you plan to move any time soon?

I wish! We are in a two bedroom apartment right now. We can't move until my husband gets a job. He re-enrolled in school and is going for law enforcement (he already went for graphic and web design but it didn't work out). He has one more year left. Right now we are basically living on my income and can't afford to move. Plus cops usually have residency requirements. So we want to buy a house when he gets a job.

Sorry, I like to share a lot.

What is the first thing you want to or did purchase for baby?

I haven't purchased anything yet, but the first thing I will purchase will be a crib!

How many siblings and nieces/nephews do you two have?

I have a half sister and step brother, but they never lived with me and I never saw them much so I don't consider them siblings. My husband has a sister. My step brother has two daughters with a third daughter on the way, but again, we aren't close and I don't see them (neither does my step dad really). So in a way we are having the first grand baby on both sides :)

Where would you live if money wasn't a problem?

That's a tough one. I like where we are now because both sets of parents are here and I will gladly welcome the help with baby. If I put everything aside and just pick a place it would be Europe. We went to Scotland for our honeymoon and I loved it there. I also have always wanted to live in Sweden or Norway.

If I had to pick somewhere in America and again, putting everything aside, it would probably be Washington State.

I give long-winded answers. :)

I love that Gilbert Godfrey reading of 50 Shades too! So good.
