So I got my crib and bedding all set up today to see what it would look like, and I love the bedding with my crib. My only question is what color to paint the nursery next weekend? We have an espresso colored crib with this bedding...

I'm afraid of painting the walls pink because I'm afraid it'll be too much pink. However brown would be too dark for a baby nursery I think. Any ideas? Would pink be too much? If not, what shade? Any ideas would be fabulous! Thanks ladies!

Is there any green in the bedding? I can't tell from the picture, if so i'de use a light green (heck even if there isn't a thing a light green could work since there are flowers and flowers have green...). I also dont think it would be bad to have white walls witha bunch of colorful art and such instead of painting

My suggestions::

1. Do half and half...the top half a light pink and the bottom half a brown (like the bedding...)

2. Do 1/3s...leave top white, then have a thin pink stripe or a brown stripe and then the bottom half pink or brown, the other color

3. Paint it all a light pink or maybe even lighter? http://www.icpaint.com/interiorafter...aby%20room.jpg

4. Paint it a deeper pink something like this

5. If you paint it pink, an espresso chair rail would look nice too

Good luck!

I agree with Lindsey! Also if you only want to do one color... you could use the darker pink on the walls because the majority of the bedding in the lighter pink.. so the darker pink will stand out more. I can't wait to see pictures when it's completed. It's going to be gorgeous!

If you're scared of too much color, a nice mocha color would go nice (like a dark beige). It'd look really nice with white trimming, and if you do plan to do a chair rail, that would look nice in white as well. Your accessories can be pink of course ^_^ , with brown accents (brown baskets[ with pink liners]; accessories can also be green. A rug would look good in brown as well, and maybe getting curtains that are two toned (pink and brown lol) would look cute too.

I love all the ideas, thank you so much! So far I'm leaning towards the 3 tone (probably pink on the bottom, a creamy beige on the top and a brown stripe). But I'm still totally open to all ideas! Thanks!

I love that bedding, I love it even more because it's organic!!! :cheer:

I'd to a two tone wall, with a tan color and a pink color.

Hi! I'm lurking from the Oct DDC. I absolutely LOVE your bedding collection!! It is still way to early for me to know what I'm having, but if you don't mind my asking... where did you get this???

Congratulations on your beautiful daughter!! :clap:

Re: Baby girl nursery help

i assume it's baby girl, so I would suggest to paint white or light pink in it. Or any light colors that will match your nursery theme.
