Feeling a little depressed (; 9 months recap!

Went through some photos on my old phone and felt a little depressed lol. Hard to believe that I went from this :

1 month to 9 months :) I love my belly, don't get me wrong, but I seriously hope it won't be a super struggle to go back to my original weight before baby. It's been a bit difficult to move around today.

Hard to believe that was taken a month before I found I was pregnant.

Ugh, it's so bittersweet  :giggle:

I think you look great now and I am sure that you will slim right back down after having the baby. I feel like I am all baby so I am expecting to leave the hospital much slimmer than when I came in lol and I am sure you will do the same because you look really great!

When I got home from hospital after having dd, I was two pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight. You'll do great!

Yay, there's some hope! lol I'm pretty certain between hopefully being able to exercise, and breastfeeding, it'll make things easier :D I've been reminiscing so much lately :P I know every little thing is all for my bubby

At least the stretchmarks have been civil to me! lol *knock on wood*

My stretch marks are absolutely horrible, that is what has me the most upset. I know that I will be exercising a lot once I have the baby so I am not worried about losing weight I am just really upset about these stretch marks that are all over my stomach.

Michelle : aww well I mostly have them under my arms ON TOP of my old ones from my weight fluctuations growing up, so that's the only part that makes me kind of self conscious wearing certain shirts. Hugs!!

Leanna : thanks :) aww, your bump is really cute though! :D especially in the latest belly thread.

A girl at the dr's today couldn't believe today was my due date.....she couldn't get over how "tiny" I am....MAN I FEEL HUGE!!! LOL!! Then afterwards at home DH picked me up and said "WOW that 30 lbs makes a difference!" I said "Yeah, tell that to my pelvis and pubic bone" lol

Lol, my thighs have expanded quite a bit! Not all belly xD lmao that SO sounds like something DF would say. He told me he's surprised I don't tip over because he also thinks I'm all belly :rolleyes:I can hear my pelvis groaning now, I'm definitely feeling that pressure. Cannot believe it's your due date! She must really love that central heating lol

Aww Gia, I feel you, but SERIOUSLY I know you wont believe me, but SERIOUSLY your belly isn't THAT huge, you look great actually! You're young you'll bounce right back

Tiffany8620 October 2nd, 2012 08:59 PM

My advice is to give your body time to bounce back. You'll get there, but don't expect too much too quickly. It's important to let your body heal. :)

Thanks ladies, hope I wasn't sounding vain! I really have cherished all these months of changes, just a little teetered from growing up, my weight fluctuated, kind of annoying :S lol but I'm totally putting all my faith into breastfeeding! :D

Amanda, me too girl me too! My thighs have never been perfect, but with pregnancy, they almost were xD

You'll get back to your natural weight eventually  I think those who are naturally thin tend to have an easier time with the pp weight loss. With Josiah, I gained around 40lbs, and he was born Sept. 3rd. I remember telling family members at Thanksgiving that I was 5lbs above my pre-pregnancy weight. By the start of the new year, I was actually below my pre-pregnancy weight, but of course gained some back once he wasn't nursing quite as voraciously!

I know how you feel Gia; I was looking at my first weekly pic a couple of days ago and I couldn't believe I was that skinny. :giggle: I never thought of myself as skinny but compared to now it sure looks that way! :D It will come off though! Don't worry. I think you look fantastic for 36 weeks!!
