Don't poke me!

My belly button hurts...is this normal? haha

All of a sudden it just started kind of throbbing, and is really uncomfortable.

Pregnancy makes for some strange symptoms, I tell ya. Anybody else have weird stuff going on with their bodies?

Yep. I have officially popped and everything from sitting down to lying down to leaning back or bending over is uncomfortable. My stretch marks from DS are coming back with a vengeance. Definitely hurts when I bump my tummy and kicks are getting harder and surprising me. Fun stuff. LOL

Re: Don't poke me!

I noticed my belly button is starting to come forward (a la an outtie) and it is not cute. I didn't realize how dirty it was either LOL.

Also I think I'm starting to have sciatica pain, when I am in certain positions especially bending over or hovering I feel a sharp pain in my back. I can only imagine these weird symptoms will get worse! Imagine the third tri? yikes

LOL @ Rosie! I think belly buttons are gross anyway...I can just imagine what I'll find in there when mine starts poking out. Probably a paperclip or something.

Just wanted to say I saw this thread earlier and LOLed picturing your painful grungy belly buttons. HAHA

Though in all seriousness I am a little freaked about mine starting to pop out and I have been digging around in there because it can get a little funky! I had no idea!!

My belly button's starting to pop, no pains or gross stuff in there, but am dreading how it will look under a t-shirt with a little nub poking out...wish it would be flat!

This whole topic is making me giggle, and I'm the one that started it!

But seriously...my husband stuck his finger in my belly button yesterday and said "It's not as deep as it used to be."

Umm...thanks?

My SO and I noticed the same thing - my belly button is definitely shallower. I think I could be an outie later on. Belly buttons are always so funky.... I never understood how thy could smell so much like @** if you left them for one day.

Re: Don't poke me!

Definitely shallower, but thankfully still an innie (for now).

Yet weirdly enough I find I never get belly lint but DH does!

Re: Don't poke me!

I don't have any belly button pain and I can't remember if I did last time, but they definitely change! Mine typically looks like a never ending abyss and now you can see the end of it. It drives me crazy because I like my pre preggo belly button! It weirdos me out to see it differently. Mine never popped, but it also never went completely back to normal. Gotta love pregnancy.

Mine has gotten more shallow and wide but luckily no pain :)
