Meditation Goals w/b May 13th
 
I suggest that those of us who struggle finding time aim to fit in one of the short meditations as many times as we feel we may be able this week:

Anyone who has already mastered daily meditation may wish to set a goal of expanding their meditation time and/or using a new method they haven't used before. Please also encourage those of us who struggle by posting in the general discussion thread about the benefits you've experienced of meditating:

Please report back on how you're doing with your goal, and at the end of the week, whether you've achieved it. Post any experiences you have had in the thread above.

My goal this week is to do the music meditation three times this week.

I've failed. I'm going to try tomorrow I really really REALLY am, but its Kenn's dance recital, so not likely..

And in other odd tid bits I have thought about mediation a lot, and have actually downloaded multiple mediation apps to my Kindle and the one morning I had a reminder on my Kindle telling me to mediate, which was really odd since I didn't set it...of course I was going into work so the reminder didn't work so well.

And then tonight I was in my DDC, refreshed it and got an "error" not an out of ordinary thing, but I happened to glance at the reason for the error and no joke it was listed as "mediation guru" I swear Divine intervention or what? I really need to whip my butt tomorrow and sit down for some "me" time!!

No proclaiming failure.... It's a practice, so you wi practice more tomorrow. Hugs.. Living meditation is a type of mindfulness that is maintained even when meditation is over.... Obviously, it's challenging. I am going to set a new intention for a new week and see how it goes!!!'

Thanks Terri! Lol, I haven't even got round to setting up a goals thread this week. There is so much to do in my day and so little time.

I never got past the one time last week so really my goal is still the same, until I achieve it. I think I stand slightly more chance of achieving it this week, though haven't begun yet.
