So I went to my class last Saturday and had a blast! I didn't know anywhere there but I managed to chat away with a few of the ladies and I can't wait to go to the one they are having in March.

This class was for birthday cards. I got some really great ideas. We used the cuttlebug and she had precut the diecuts (using Quickutz templates) so it went by quickly.

Here are the photos of my completed cards.

OMG Jen, they look great! What did you use to make the little stars and cakes?

I see your little weight loss team thing! Great job at you weight loss!!!! That is one of the hardest things to do in my opinion. What are you doing to change your life style? Keep up the great work Jen!!!

Wow! They look great! Where was the class?

Thanks Jen!

We used Quickutz templates for the birthday cakes. The stars (a couple of them) were chipboard and then we covered them with glitter paper. The other stars were just die cuts.

As for the weightloss I am doing weightwatchers but just on my own. I have done WW in the past and I know what I have to do so I figured I would try doing it on my own first to see how far I can get. I need to lose about 15 pounds (the last of my baby weight) and then I want to tone up some areas ( which is the hardest part for me - I am not a fan of exercise LOL)

It was at my local scrapbooking store. It is about a 20-30 minute drive to get there so I don't head over there often. I finally decided I needed to do something for myself and I just loved the cards.

I was afraid you were going to say that!

Good luck on the weight loss! Have you checked out the weight loss board here on JM! The ladies on there are really great and really have good advice and knowledge.

They look great! My DH's Nana is turning 86 this weekend and I'd love to make a card that doesn't look like I made it!?! Make sense?

I might need to snoop around here for a card layout....

I must say that was a great class to take. Some great cards.

I have also done WW in the past! I think it is a great plan I lost 15 lbs in like 2 1/2 months. I loved the program. I like it because it is a life style change not just you can't eat ____! Good luck!
