On Saturday my parents and I are going to the Great American Scrapbook Convention. I am so excited. My parents are giving me the trip (plus some spending money) as my birthday present (my birthday was 2 1/2 months ago, but going to the convention was what I asked for). My husband is keeping all three kids including the baby so I don't have to worry about lugging him around with me. I can't wait!
That is SOO awesome! Have a great, great, great time! And come back with some pages to post, you know we'd love to see them!!!
Oh that would be great! I wish I could go.
Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back.
Ohh..that would be SOOO much fun!!! I want to go!!!! Cant wait to see all the the stuff you get and all the pages you get done!!!
I won't be making any pages there. I'm just going to shop lol
I am so upset that I didn't know about it sooner. I could have gone!!!!!!!!! I hope you have a great time shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was so fun! Boy were we sore when we got finished. I got lots of stuff. My parents had given me $50 and my aunt and uncle had given me $10 for my birthday and I spent $57 at the convention. Then we went to the LSS right by the convention center and I spend another $38. Not bad at all.
Here's what I got:
12x12 red glitter paper sheet
SEI iron-on art black velvet girl sheet (she's reading a book in one part of it and my daughter is always reading so I had to get it)
Washington DC laser cut border (which, oddly enough, has the Masonic Temple which is in VA on it)
Sparkle Girly rub-ons (I fell in love with rub-ons from a kit swap on here!)

I also did one make and take. For $2 at the SEI booth I made a two page spread using the fishing boy iron-on art black velvet stuff. Leftover after making the pages I have a butterfly, a dog, two fish on a rope, a picnic basket, and a boy's profile from the iron-on art sheet.
Wow you got a lot of stuff.
I can't wait to see the layout with the wooden pieces with the name cameron. That is going to be so cute!
And the onsie and lego brads sound so cute!
I have to get those pictures printed. I know exactly which ones I want to use. A few months ago he got his haircut and had chosen the style from a bunch of pictures and I took pictures of him afterwards and he was just so darn cute. But I need to print the pictures before I can do the layout lol
