Weight Loss Challenge: Jan-March
 
It looks like we have some takers to do another weight loss challenge for a few months. To sign up, just post your goal of how much you would like to lose in 3 months and the person that loses the largest percentage of weight by the end of those 3 months will win a scrappy prize (which I'll need to come up with still). I'm participating, but I'm not eligible for the prize.

This challenge will begin on January 15th and end on April 15th. So who's with me??

My goal for the next 3 months is to lose.....25 pounds, which is half of what I need to lose.

My goal for the next 3 months is 10 pounds, about 2/3 of what I would like to try to lose.

Starting weight (as of 1/15/13): 136.2
Weight as of 2/15/13: 133.4
Weight as of 3/15/13: 133.4
End weight (as of 4/15/13): 135.6

Total Lost: .6 pounds A weekend away from home messed that up. LOL!
% lost: Can't remember how to figure it. LOL!

Edited on 1/15/13 to up my goal for the next 3 months from 5 to 10. :)
Edited on 4/15/13 - Am starting to think that 130-135 is where I am supposed to be as I cannot seem to get below 131. I'm doing pretty good at maintaining between 130-135. I'll keep working on trying to get lower, but am not going to get upset if I don't. :)

What is everyone planning on doing to lose the weight?? Do you think we should sticky this thread??


I'm planning on starting by watching my calories, trying to eat a little healthier, and doing some Leslie Sansone walk at home videos.

Portion control and exercising is key for me. And since I can't seem to control portions without help I started Nutrisystem.....which seems to work so far. Now if my neck would heal so I can start exercising again.

I am doing a mile a day (with one rest day) and other ab work outs, trying to eat better and portion control as well.

huh I can still lose weight but not likely eating salami feta and olives. I really need to go o . a pregnancy diet. I think it is called "best odds diet" it basically cuts sugar and white carbs...

Monitoring what I'm eating, and exercising are what I'm doing to lose the pounds.
