ok doc put me on a progesterone supplement, mainly for my peace of mind.i was wondering "if" you were to MC while taking it would you start bleeding or would your body tend to hold it longer than normal?i have no symptoms other than being tired and occasional heartburn(good i know) but also very worrisome.and with zachary i didnt cramp or bleed,i just had lots of pressure so they did an US,again for my peace of mind, thats when they saw he was no longer living.this is why im so scared,my body held on to him so couldnt it happen again? please help.

Well I didn't have any bleeding either with my loss. I had a slight bit of brown discharge and then contractions which is what sent me to the DR. I lived in fear my first trimester of a missed miscarriage. I rented a doppler to help with that. It was hard to find the baby's heartbeat in the beginning but it helped with that fear that the baby just died and I didn't know it.

I also had almost no symptoms when I got pregnant again. I had horrible m/s with the baby I lost. The only thing I had this time was fatigue. Hardly any m/s and no sore bbs until well into the 2nd trimester. I think that happens because our bodies are used to being pregnant. It wasn't that long ago we were rather far along so our bodies kind of think it is part of the same pregnancy. Does that make sense? I still worried about it, but was thankful I wasn't as sick.

It gets a little easier when you can feel the baby kick. I wake up poor Sadie if she hasn't kicked me in 2 hours. I poke and prod her until she kicks.

:dothug:
i can understand your concern. I know very little about progesteron supplements, but wanted to give you a hug anyway.
