Contractions (x-posted) update post 1

I have been having really bad contractions last night but fell asleep without a problem, woke up today and they are about 20 minutes apart and not getting any closer but they are getting extremely painful. I was thinking of calling the dr in the morning but don't want to seem like a whiner about it, I have an appointment on thursday. Should I wait or make the call

Update: Nurse called back and they are fine with me having contractions now as long, ecspecially this far apart. I am to report to l&d if I have spotting, they get closer or my water breaks. I am hoping I can talk to them about it on Thursday at my appointment cause right now I am plain miserable.

If you're nervous, you should call. They won't think you're a whiner.

I'd call. Worse thing they can give you breathen to stop them if it is too early for labor. They had to stop contractions with my daughter 3 times towards the end of her pregnancy.

As much as I want to be done with pregnancy I am scared slightly since I'm not considered full term yet. I was planning on declining internals until labor is active but I am scared to do that now too, hopefully I can get some reassurance from my dr at my appointment on Thursday

I'm sorry you are so miserable :( I hope that your doctor has something helpful to say at your appointment.
