Beta's/Progesterone

So my first beta at 12 dpo was 100. Today at 14 dpo was 304! And my progesterone was 33.

Is my progesterone ok??

:woohoo:
I have never gotten my betas drawn or anything like that so I'm no help, but I wanted to share in your excitement!! :D

I haven't either, so I'm clueless as to what it all means (other than you want your beta's to double after 2 days?). But hopefully someone will be able to tell. Congrats!

Progesterone is good! Great beta as well. Best of luck!! Will they be checking betas every week or is this the only set?

Great beta and progesterone is WONDERFUL. You just want it above 20. Mine was only like 16.9 and I got put on supplements SO 33 sounds amazing.

Things are looking good so far mama.

I will get another ran on Monday for sure- they are closed Friday. And I see the high risk doctor on Monday so I'm not sure what his plans are. I think he is doing his own blood work too and will have his own plan but I'm not totally sure.

Awesome numbers! How did your appt go?

Re: Beta's/Progesterone

It was pretty pointless. I did get to see the gestational sac and the yolk sac. But no heartbeat yet which I expected and now the dr doesn't want to do Lovenox at all. I am really leery of not doing it and I'm not sure how comfortable I am about this.

Just remember you can get a second opinion from another doctor if you feel you need to. I don't know anything about beta's and taking extra things because I've never done it myself. But I'm wishing you the best.

My third beta just came in: 5454

So it went from 300 on 11/27 to 5454 on 12/3. My doubling time is like 1.4 days I think.

They sound perfect! A few of my baby's had doubling times like that, always made me feel so much more secure!

Re: Beta's/Progesterone

Okay- so my progesterone results just came in. It went down to 26.9 from the 33 it was. What do I do? Is that something to be worried about??

Re: Beta's/Progesterone

Great Numbers! Progesterone can fluctuate that much in a day and it really depends on the time of day if the number will be on the high or low side.

Re: Beta's/Progesterone

Awesome numbers! Yes, your progesterone is still fine- as Leia said, it fluctuates naturally, even with supplements. I had mine tested weekly, and I think it ranged between 24 and 33, going up and down a few points from week to week.

Re: Beta's/Progesterone

Well it sounds like things are progressing nicely - congrats. I don't know anything about numbers myself (never been tested), but seems from the other ladies that you're doing great.
